These immense beings travel from one plane of existance to another, devouring whole universes in their wake and leaving behind nothing but empty voids. They are drawn to places where reality has been wounded like moths to the flame, seeking to gorge themselves on one world only to move immediately to another. No one is quite sure what they are, or if they are even organic, sentient beings - some say they are constructs built by forgotten vengeful gods, or even the gods themselves. Their mere existance tears reality apart - even around the smallest of them, like the one depicted in the picture, laws of physics tend to twist and weaken. They are the first to come pouring through the cracks, widening them in the process, until their whole swarm can pass through. The largest ones can switch off suns by just passing near them...
Haven't drawn a landscape for quite a while so there. ''Remake'' of a pic I posted a year or so ago.
It was a speed paint, more or less. I should really practice some more landscapes.

The great calamity streaked across the sky as the people looked to the heavens in fear. The gods had abandoned them, left them to the mercy of a creature formed in their true image. Shaking with fear, the world screamed as one when the darkness descended upon them, devouring everything they held dear. It was a sound of pure and boundless agony, the requiem of the damned.
