The houses in this village are build on 10 foot stilts. During the heaviest snow season, this village generally receives around 8 feet of snow during the harshest winter of the 8 seasons. This melts during the harshest and driest summer, causing major flooding.
If you look closely, there are some strange plants in the image. These are plants that can grow in snow. They use salt water so the liquid inside them doesnt freeze as well as light mana from their sun and cold mana from the snow in order to live.
