Drouvyen pronounced (Droven) – Was created by a warlock that wanted an intelligent servant that could double as a body guard. He took elements from dragons, camels, wolves and hyenas, the result was a pack of proficient hunters and trackers, however the warlock misjudged the creatures intelligence. So one night as he slept the Drouvyen killed him and ate the remains.

Description and Behavior : The Drouvyen are very intelligent and can speak several languages. Their unique eyes give them almost perfect vision, their sense of smell rivals that of most dragons. Their fur and skin coloring usually corresponds to the area the Drouvyen prefers to hunt. They will eat any kind of meat, and have been known to scavenge. They prefer to hunt and are not above eating humans or dwarves but they prefer elves.

Breeding and Habitat : A Drouvyen female can have up to three pups in a litter, their society is well organized. They prefer to live in deep caves or deep rotted woods. Some have even been seen in swamps. Some say that once a small band of Drouvyen had invaded Terivall, the ancient home of the dwarves, and nearly wiped them out.

Social habbits : A lot of Drouyven will hire themselves out as bounty hunters and mercenaries as a more legitimate way to capture, kill and eat human or elven flesh. Most humans never survive their first meeting with a Drouvyen. There have been many tales of Drouvyen raiding human homes in the night and stealing children. Yet humans and dwarves still interact with Drouvyen and hire them. Elves on the other hand kill them on sight.
