Patience isn't very good with children. They're loud, they make messes, they break things if you don't watch them. It's a real distraction from your studies. Nevertheless, being an assistant librarian doesn't really pay all that much, so from time to time, she had to take side jobs, like babysitting.

This could be an interesting foundation for a story - she has a specific boy she babysits, and she gets into the habit of zapping into a dog - not even when he's being bad, just when she gets left with him she immediately transforms him because its easier -
He doesn't ever remember the experience, he just goes into dog mode and can't think like a human while changed -
