I recently remembered this little thing and had to post it. My friend Mae made me this bookmark forever ago and it heavily inspired and influenced Myrtle’s design and coloration. Not one-to-one but similar. It’s just a little bookmark depicting me (Snomdog) in my room admiring an axolotl, which I plan to get one day when I’m properly educated on the care and treatment of them and have the money required.

axolotls are such unique critters, we love them there in Mexico (we even have them on one of our money bills) and for good reasons! they're adorable and iconic!
I hope your dream of keeping an axolotl can be accomplished, they require tons of attention and care, but I'm sure you would be a great owner ^^

Thanks man! I had no idea Axos were on money in Mexico, but that’s sick! And yup they’re definitely adorable and iconic, (hopefully) like Myrtle. I’ll probably get an iguana/bearded dragon/monitor at some point in the future first, then maybe an Axolotl once I’m all figured out. Thanks for the comment, Hermezzz!!

what a good choice of a pet! reptiles are so awesome and frankly underrated. don't get me wrong, felines and canines are adorable and i love them ^^
