This was a fun, extremely indulgent detour. I may colour like this from now on, depending on people's opinions.
Turns out- Oscar is a little bit agoraphobic! Weird, since his sister is such an outdoorsy type. Could this arrangement of opposite characteristics lead to engaging and chucklesome hijinks?
Or perhaps, to poignant character moments between two struggling siblings?
Either way, at the moment, Isabelle isn't best pleased.
Read some Osamu Tezuka recently, and saw him perform the odd comic-panel trickery we see here, with the black lines and the wot.

Ah-hah, that's what was familiar about that layout! I devour all Tezuka that I can, definitely a fine source of inspiration. And, more importantly, the layout fits the emotional needs of the scene!
Since the beginning, Iz has been told that Oscar has not said a word since he was found. But not once has she either corroborated that he's not capable of talking, or informed the statement to say she heard him talk plenty before in their life. So I'm really on tenterhooks for next week!
