They have a plethora of health benefits due to their variety of Vitamins and nutrients such as potassium, fiber, copper, and iron. Spiritually, their natural heat connects them with fire, passion, and motivation. The Chilli Pepper is said to aid in driving bad spirits out of a house and to protect one against the evil eye. It is a symbol for personal strength both mentally and physically and the application of it in every day life. Being embolden and inspired to follow interests and develop into a stronger version of yourself.
The element of Shadow, or Darkness, is known for it’s connections to mystery, emotion, introspection, and knowledge. It is seen as the direct opposite of Light, or Spirit, and is often associated only with negative attributes. However, Shadow is a teacher and a guide. Whereas Light illuminates knowledge, Shadow allows for contemplation and the ability to soak in that information and really absorb it. The shadows we cast are seen as reflections of our deepest selves. Aspects of our inner being that we don’t share with others. By looking into these shadows, one can find enlightenment through the examination of self. The element of Shadow has represented the dark, the dangerous, and the unknown. Reminding us of all that we do not know. Yet, this can be an incredible source of inspiration to listen deeply and ask questions.
