With the flamboyance came confidence, I guess! Or, at least, coping mechanisms and a healthy partnership.

Lucian is not an ancient vampire, but rather young for his kind (he was born in 1952). But vampire families can be quite "outdated" when it comes to clothing. In Lucian's case, he also received simple clothes, which were more suitable for dirty work. And that's why he loves fancy things so much!

His confidence came for many reasons, one of the main ones being the inevitability of imminent death. However, his relationship with Matthias made him more stable and calm (although he remained chaotic :D)

Another thing that just occurred to me - I like how long his neck is in this one. It's a funny trait for a vampire!

Probably one of his erogenous zones? ;)
