Your 4th major TF story was a really good major TF story!

I really enjoy your one-offs and 2-3 page sequences, but it's the storytelling I enjoy in your work the most, and naturally the longer ones have more chances for the storytelling goodstuff.

Honestly though, I don't think I've ever asked: What about my storytelling strikes your fancy so?
I'm genuinely curious.

Honestly, a lot of it is just solid meat-'n-potatoes character writing, something that's too often lacking in the TF community. We all enjoy the TF itself and any associated sense-freak-ey stuff (or we wouldn't be part of this weird little niche,) but it's how the people involved react to it, what that reveals about them, and how it informs their interactions with each other that makes it into a story.

Among other things, I enjoy the blend of fun/cute/sexy TF stuff and the more realistic, "existential impact" sort of reactions to them. And while it's not something that every TF story should revolve around, I enjoy it when there's some impactful pathos and existential angst the character has to confront and work their way through. It's an element especially present in the A Zeraora's Post-TF story.

You pull off a good balance!

I really love how this came out. They're still good friends (and possibly more), and working on adjusting but helping~. And what kind of roomies (or couples) don't fight over stupid things but not really 'hate' one another. The dialogue from it all really flowed, I can see a minor typo issue? "I WILL choke you these ribbons", missing "with" before these"?

Hell of a ride. Great fun stuff, and a really unique style and tone.

It's not that I don't like this as an ending, it's great. It's just that I'm sad that it's an ending. I really like those two and I admit I hoped we would see more of them. They're cute.

Excellent ending. I am always impressed by how…cinematic? The endings to these are-the camera shutting off at the end of ENL, Clarance and his mother walking into the sunset (with the kitsune shadow), and here with the pair’s thoughts lining up over a quasi-embrace. They always bring a natural finish to the comics, and spark a real sense of closure and reflection, especially in how they wrap up the overarching themes of the series.

Side note: the storytelling and how the themes and struggles of the characters are portrayed are always incredible, and though the problems they face are (for the time being) supernatural, the ways they struggle with and overcome them feel very real and very human. For example, Clarance coping with his new identity by self-isolating and abandoning his past, when in reality he needed to forgive himself and reconnect with family, Yanuna initially trying to flee from his trauma but finding some sense of peace by forgiving and understanding those who wronged him (though that certainly seems to be ongoing), or here, where Vince’s problems with his own identity and perceived lack of connection lead him into a depressive state, only to be saved by Hector’s devotion and opening up to/realizing that someone really did care about him, no matter who he was/what he looked like. Not shying away from such emotionally intense topics/themes (and exploring/showing them so well and thoroughly from a writing perspective) truly does make one invested in the characters and the story, and is in my opinion what makes these series(s) so unique and moving. Combine that with one of the most expressive art styles I’ve ever seen (making use of incredible contrast between light and dark coloring, normal and exaggerated expressions, and masterful story boarding/sequencing) , and these are a true pleasure to read from start to finish, no matter where they go. It’s also incredible to see the art improvement from the original YnP days to here, which I’ve witnessed every time I rebinge the whole catalogue every couple of months lol.
(Sorry for the long rant for anyone who read all of it, I just didn’t want to sound like I’m just blowing around hot air!)

I cannot agree with you more, you put into words feelings that I have always had but couldn't fully express. Thwill's TF series stands above the average because of the things you have mentioned. They are all used to explore the human condition and make some very interesting characters. None of them deal with the life-changing event int he exact same way.

Indeed, every person is built and thinks differently from one another.

It's because of this variety of how different characters react to the same situation differently such as furry transformation, for example, it makes them feel like actual people who are trying to figure out and cope with a life-changing experience. Not everyone makes it to the other side, but I'm glad that the comics that features these characters do.

This is why I really admire this artist in the first place.

It does leave me wondering as to whether Vince will end up changing back in the end, but it's sweet that they're able to care about each other without having to reciprocate a romantic connection.

Because, I've noticed that (apparently) the charm and key part of the TF fetish is that it's an irreversible transformation, and that (apparently) the victim being able to return to their normal form would ruin the whole point of TF.

I'm not saying this as a complaint, it's just that in many TF stories it's very explicit that it's an irreversible change, I don't even remember a single thing in which the victim managed to return to his human form, not a single one. Those are kinda my points as to why I believe that the transformation being permanent is an important part of the fetish.

Alright then! It makes me intrigued and curious to know the thoughts of an already experienced artist, because honestly I want to be a great artist one day and draw weird thingies.

I honestly hope you didn't take my comment as "This fetish is wrong!", Personally it's not really my cup of tea, but I don't hate it or anything like that, I have my own weird things too.

I loved this! gosh, I have been *starved* for tf stories that actually introspect, that take a moment to consider the self as separate from the body. I loved this story and I'm realy glad they're happy together <3
