Clyde and Pearl had agreed to meet up underneath the old oak tree at the edge of the stable grounds. It had been a lovely day with the sun showing its face from the clouds every now and then.
With the sun hiding in the clouds it only made the temperatures a bit more cooler, a perfect scenario to enjoy some company.
With a few minutes left until their designated meeting time, Clyde had scoured the whole field looking for the perfect flower to give Pearl.
It was a beautiful red flower with yellow accents, being just as beautiful as the mare he was gonna spend some time with tonight.
Clyde wish he had more opportunities for moments like these, to have an evening free from worries, but as the herd leader, it was his job every evening to make sure things were going to plan.
He couldn't let Zeana down after all. That's why it more or less came as a surprise when it was Zeana herself who suggested that he should take tonight off.
First he protested, but eventually gave in. A night together with Pearl did sound good after all.
To spend time with his forever flower-in-bloom that always had an effect to create a smile on his face.
He trotted up towards the old oak tree and saw that Pearl was already there, giving him a warm smile as he approached.
This was going to be a night to remember.
