At last! My piece for the Moon Knight fanzine Lunar Labyrinth from last year! This was the first time I worked with a zine project and it was definitely a delight.
I had fun with the symbolism in this piece. It's centred around the concept of order, rebuilding and discovering each other's strengths. I love using mirrors as a visual metaphor for the self - or selves, in case of Marc/Steven/Jake.
The hieroglyphs read: "There is no son who is strong against his father, but you are strong and mighty while Ma'at (personification of order, balance, harmony) dwells on your arms and your Ba (plural) will last forever, repeating rejuvenation like the Moon".
