Man, I loved this game. When I finally finished it a few months back, it took a week to get over the withdrawal XD So here's my humble addition to all that Okami fan-art out there!
Um... even if you've played the game you might be wondering who the heck this is ^^; Well, some characters seem to get all the love, so I decided to doodle one not as well-known. Remember that cafe in Sei-an City where you get the Fireburst brush technique? And remember that unnamed, busy waitress bustling about in the front room? I figured since Nintendo's got her working her bum off every night for all eternity, she earned herself a portrait :3 Service with a smile!

Heh heh heh then just get the sequel on DS Okamiden that will satiate your need for more Okami. The game takes place only a few months after the original Okami and stars Ami's son Chibi, for a true fan of okami all the characters return along with a whole slew of new ones
I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to continue the Okami saga or even those who can't find the first Okami for either PS2 or Wii.

You know I always wondered whether that bell she wears was her idea, or whether the restaurant owner belled the cat in order to be able to tell she was working hard just from the sound.

Thanks :) According to one of the Okami wikis the whole restaurant thing is based on the Japanese story, "The Restaurant of Many Orders." Dunno if it's true - if so it's only very, very loosely based on it - but that could explain why they're cats.
