I guess the new body doesn't have the same endurance he's used to. Or the pets are just better than expected. Latte doesn't seem to mind him as much when he's unconscious.
Also, I really like the way you stylize the Lopunny ears. I've been messing with drawing Lopunnies lately, and it's a real hassle to keep the ears looking okay and not blocking half the drawing.

Judging by every pet I've ever had melting into a snoozy fur puddle whenever they got brushed, I have to imagine its insanely relaxing. And yup, much easier for them to tolerate one another when the other one is passed out, he's a lot cuter when he isn't giving any back-sass. 😛
And yeah, trying to keep the ears on-model from the games just results in in the character's body being obscured 80% of the time, so better just to use some stylized cheated angles if you aren't going for realism. Plus I like making em super fluffy.
