I love how British people call it "theater" instead of operating room. Was once watching this British medical show for little kids to explain procedures or conditions to very young children. I forget what it's called but it's this Indian or East Asian guy doctor with puppet children. In one episode he's explaining to a little girl puppet who's going to have surgery (for what I forget) and he says "And then you'll go into theater". She says "Oh how I love the theater! Are we going to see a play or a ballet? Do I need a costume?"
