Info:
Bio:
"Pern" belongs to a unique-looking species that looks to be a hybrid of a parrot and kangaroo
Pern might be seen with "Ruth" at times, trying to bug her into doing something "fun".
His claws are trimmed shorter than they should be. This is to prevent damaging things
While he doesn't speak normally like a person, being part parrot, he will try and mimic another's voice.
Normally he would be a little slimmer but due to him living with a caretaker. He put on some "extra weight"
Unlike others, he does have a random feather sticking up on his head
Even though he should be out and about (aka being free), he refuses, stays inside, plays around with things, or sleeps on an oversized dog bed, curled up.
Notes:
The feathers are also soft like fur.
Their body is covered in short fur-like feathers.
Do make nests near trees and sometimes in them.
Like kangaroos. They have 3 claws on their feet as well as one on the back
They are also unique in how they have offspring. (eggs in a pouch)
They tend to eat mostly insects and fruits from the trees they inhabit.
Unlike kangaroos, they travel by walking and running instead of jumping.
They can be friendly and are known to be a bit curious as well, so they may approach others.
They do not have wings; instead, they have arms with feathers on the side and sharp claws that allow for easy climbing.
