i.s.o. Volume 2 Bonus Story preview.
Well, I haven't uploaded much in awhile, and this is why: i.s.o. Volume 2 will be released at AC 2011, including issues 6 - 10 plus an all-new 32 page bonus story penned by R. Smith of Funny Farm fame. It's taken since December to get the bonus story and graphic novel all wrapped up @.@
As with last time, it's a bit spoilery to really show any full pages, so I've collected a few images from the story just to give you a sense of what's going on. Cody, Nate, and Randall go in search of the Golden Plumes (yes, that plotline again), but this time within the Forrest campus. Given that Forrest has a high-tech engineering department, they're more than prepared to deal with invaders. Plenty of action and lots of fluff!
I'll have a formal announcement of the online release and ordering info later (probably early July)...stay tuned!

I'll be honest. Since the WIP pages were posted on my LJ, they got collected and posted at paws.ru. And frankly it ultimately was good publicity, so I never made too much of a fuss. I'm only protective of the bonus stories since that was part of my agreement with Sofawolf's publication.

No, he's talking about the first bonus issue, which was part of ISO Volume 1, about Cody, Todd, and the mascot/plumes storyline from Class Menagerie involving Biff, now appearing in ISO.

I will admit when I was reading the story, I was having a sudden jock urge to scream "NERDS!...oh wait." a lot. XD

Both graphic novels have a bonus story. I was aware not everyone can afford the graphic novels so they're purposely structured to be unrelated to the main i.s.o. plotline, plus I recruited guest authors to save time/sanity. Therefore technically you've read all of the main i.s.o. story, and all of the canon content completely created on my own...

This looks like it will be so much fun! I'm happy to see the sidekicks (especially Nate!), I am very curious about some of these very odd poses (and that husky!), and I love Nate's stealthy cat-crawl.
Sigh. Guess I have to hope I can make next year's FC and that there will still be copies...
