This is my PS2 Guitar Hero controller. My original Guitar Hero controller. As in GH1 original. Whammy bar is about about 80-85%, strums solidly and hammers like its still new.

It started life as the Black SG. Fully disassembled, shaved the surface and repainted it blue (Testors '1208' Blue) and put it back together. That was.... close to a year ago.

Now I'm going to take it Phase Two. I made the mistake of slapping on a layer of Testors Gloss Coat. Which ended up causing this nasty looking halo effect to form from my playing. I plan on shaving off the gloss coat (front panel only) and touch it up with a fresh can of paint. And the fret bar is getting sanded down (hopefully keeping the fret markings) and coated in Testors 1245 Gloss White to flow with the face.
