I was just at great america watchin these things go overhead outa San Jose. Btw i might be mistaken but im pretty sure its CRJ, not CJR.

Ah cool cool. I wasnt there to see it though cause I was there the previous saturday, but they sure did go low over the park on approach. Ive flown the 700 model in my flight sim, its a fun plane to fly really though the speed autopilot is really odd because it has no autothrottle. I actually took one of these into san jose(still talking about simulator) on an emergency landing. The runway at that place is huuuuge, like over two milew long, although the displaced thresholds severely shorten the usuable landing space. Lol yay for a randomly long comment with much more info than you needed!

lol true true, a fact is the airport can support a 747, and actually flown in 1+ 747 in San Jose

its just the runway isnt set up for everyday 747 landings due to its weight but since japan is a sister city of san jose, and some special people with charter 74's land in san jose for events.

best spot to watch planes is a bridge over the US101 freeway, some days it flys over you, other days planes land over you :3

Yeah, ive been over the bridge i think youre talking about before. There was a 737 landing at the time too, so it was pretty entertaining to watch

yep, good spot to drink and chill, ride there often on bike too
