Just a thing I did during a afternoon, my family does not have a coat of arms because my ancestors were simple farmers, but just for fun I designed this combining my mother's family and my father's family.
We have here silver mountains with a blue background for the Dahlberg family, Dahlberg basiclly mean valleymountain/dalemountain. And the crops for the Aronsson family. And the flags are the two provinces which is dominant in my family. The Aronssons generally come from värmland (The eagle) and the Dalhbergs come from Dalarna. (The arrows.)
The vizsla (the dog) is based on my family are crazy in vizslas, we have owned totally four vizslas since i was a little girl and the horse is based on my own horse which we see the famiy's horse. The hand with the pen is symbolized both for creativity and that my family always value knowledge. The colors of the fabric around the helmet is after all swedish colors if you haven't guessed it yet. The hood on the helmet is for my family's history of being farmers. (We checked all the way to the 1600, farmers almost the whole way. :D )
This was a intresting design and my mum liked it and thought about putting it onto fabric and hang it somewhere at our farm.
