(Really trying to keep up with uploading from my DA and FA- just don't usually have time to be online.)
Hee-Ho, howdy everyone, today I bring you more gigantic scary monster artwork. This time around it's of the "Dreadnaught" project that Icarus has been working on, and something I hinted at in other posts with him. He already has Treya, creating a demi-god like being is obviously the next step on his grand journey. Frankly this was mostly a design test and illustration. I can't tell if I like the design fully or not, as I reworked it several times lmfao- but I might warm up to it overtime. (Big examples is that it used to have on giant "middle" eye and the color was originally purple and pink. Although I think a nice red color will help contrast with Treya's green colors.) I just wanted to make a more "detailed" monster but trying to also keep it simple as possible, haha.
Other than that? I don't have much else to say outside of Icarus creating another biological super weapon monster which is pretty normal for him- Until next time!
(That and I'm not ready to release a bunch of different lore logs on his various projects, but I might in the future! So maybe expect some data logs out of Icarus and some of the "creatures" and kaijus he helped create.)
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.
Other Disclaimer: You are allowed to share my artwork as long as I am credited, but do not upload it anywhere else, edit it and or mark it as your own if that wasn't common sense.
Fun factoid: I blame all my "Giant Monster Worm" love from Terraria, because they're still some of my favorite bosses thanks to their sheer overwhelming size alone. Making me realize how truly "small" my character is in comparison to the Eater of Worlds and the Mechanical Worm. I originally had a much more "Galaxy" design for this worm, that I might touch back on and bring back their purple coloring... So, expect another piece of art down the line maybe? perhaps? Although, I don't want people thinking it's inspired off the Devourer of Gods from Calamity lmfao. As I believe that's also another "galaxy" looking worm.
