I thought it came out really well; fine details to the image speak to the artist's skill though they're still not sure about it and therefore wants to give it another go.

All in all, I feel it's quite relatable, even outside of just art itself. I very much enjoyed it.

I too thought this came out pretty well! It was short and quick, but to the point. The details were specific and I could picture the situation without seeing it.

No, I think that's fair. I tend to evoke that type of mood with my more landscape focused works which this was based on.

It's a nice story! I remember reading earlier your thoughts that it was bad, but I think that it's just simple which maybe isn't a bad thing when writing for a prompt and wanting to capture its essence. And I think it did definitely.

Regarding drawing I never tried doing it seriously so I can't compare it to my own experience, but it sounds as if it probably captures your thoughts when making art pretty well.

Also I like how Elk mentioned wistfulness. It's something I felt too when reading the story. I liked it. It was a pleasant kind of slight melancholy.

Thanks a lot, Blaze. I guess I kind of just felt it was a bunch of nothing. Like I couldn't think of anything more to write, half way through, so I kind of just ended it.

Agreed, it's nice to see an insight into the art of creation, or the creation of art, which is really the same thing.

I was trying to kind of write out my thought process I have when working on ink drawings. Wasn't sure how well it turned out, but I'm glad you liked it and thanks for the fav.
