A character I setup to be used in a space cops TTRPG I'm getting into. Her hobbies include: work, work and more work. She can play the Banjo decently well though.
She(despite many assuming she is a he) is an alien from a far away rim-planet that happens to bare a striking resemblance to an earthen fennec fox. She took the first ship ride out of her terrible family she could, and spent most of her life on a salvage ship with a bunch of a rare race known as humans.
Due to greed and neglectful maintenance by her ship's captain, the entire salvage ship was lost in a tragic accident. Now without a home she took what she had saved and moved to Drusos Station and became a ship inspector in an effort to stop what happened to her from happening to others.
After a life time of dodging ship-based crime in the outer rim it was only a natural progression for her when she accepted an offer to join the Drusos Station Security force. Now she's the resident smuggler buster and bomb dog.

Capes most definitely need to make a comeback!
How does she feel about the apparently regular accidental misgendering? And what are her impression of humans and them of her? And of Fennec foxes if she's ever been shown a picture of one ;)

Agreed on the return of capes there.
I'd say she's annoyed by the misgendering as it often leads to misunderstandings and shenanigans. As for her impression of humans, I'd say she has a bit of an affinity for them as they ended up being her surrogate family. She still thinks they're a bunch of dumb ape brains, but in a loving way. Also I'm sure she got shown a fennec at some point and probably found the comparison rather offensive.
