I have a habit of avoiding muzzles if I can, so I tend to give non-mammals a sort of blunt nose; everyone has similar profiles, but the insects and such just aren't as sharp. An' salamanders aren't known for their sharp faces after all.
I guess I'm just trying to show that more than just the little triangle nose can be cute. ^^
