Artwork for an event in a project where I answer questions for Xyos.
Pirates have a special meaning for Xyos. When he was young, he was caught, mistaken for a parrot, and taken to a pirate ship, where Xyos spent a small part of his life until he began to take up too much space. The grown-up chick helped pirates hunt sea monsters, raising their morale, and was a distraction when robbing merchant ships. Soon, he himself was protecting the ship from any misfortunes, including monsters. However, one day he began to fly further and further away from the ship, until one day he returned back, because his own path was waiting for him.
Warm feelings towards pirates have been preserved to this day, so nowadays Xyos likes to playfully push the ship, scaring the crew, but never causes harm, periodically even saving ships from sea monsters. Perhaps any sailors are the only ones who do not consider Xyos a Calamity, because the giant has recommended himself many times as a reliable savior from sea dangers.
