Discovered a really neat easy way to make stunning simple backgrounds.
It only works with using colour and black, for my 2 examples I used blue/black and red/black.
Using Photoshop follow these steps:
Filter>Render>Clouds
Filter>Artistic>Fresco
Filter>Artistic>Paintdaubs
Filter>Artistic>Poster Edges
You should get something similar to what I got :)
