Twitter/X outfit meme thing that's been floating around. I don't think Hazel really cares for Hanna's "gift".
Totally new method of shading in this, I know it's not much different looking yet (idk if the final result will be vastly different) but this way of shading does make it much easier to edit the shading without having to repaint something. Though I think I did find a strange Bug in the old version of GIMP I'm running because I could not scale this image down without the program crashing. I'm guessing it's because of all the extra special layers used for the shading screwing it all up. I had the export the whole image, then re-open it from that file and THEN scale it down. Not exactly ideal. I need to figure out a way to install the newest version of GIMP without deleting my current version or something. I've had trouble with newer versions in the past which is why I'm still using an ancient version.
Oh well, the experiments continue. Upcoming ones will maybe be more drastic.

I've been running 2.8.20 , I've made other images with non-normal layers before and didn't have this issue but I had 3 Multiply/Darken/Lighten layers all working in tandem which might've bugged it out. I'll have to try again on another image. I did just download the installer for the newest 2.10 but am hesitant to install it because I don't want it to over-write 2.8 in case it's still having issues like it did a few years ago for me when I first tried it.
I could certainly see something like that being a potential source of issues for the program, although having never used any of those features myself I can't say for sure if you'd run into similar difficulties in the current version.
And yeah, there's a good chance it probably would overwrite everything of your existing installation. If you haven't already committed to the install, I'd definitely recommend you do some asking around first, see if other folks have more insight on whether or not the issues you previously faced are still there; the last thing you want is to be stuck with a version you're unhappy with.

As someone who had to update to 2.10 from 2.8 (mainly due to some resources I use for my hobby not being able to be opened in older versions), I can't say for certain which version I prefer. I have encountered similar bugs from time to time since updating though, so it's likely you might too. I think the only.thimg I'll give 2.10 is that it does have the legacy features built in on top of the exanded & updated versions, and is backwards compatible with XCF files saved in previous versions, and can save those files while preserving the ability to open them in older versions.
I didn't even know about this outfit meme, I only remember that „pink hoodie meme” from few years ago xD.
Hazel looks both adorable and sexy (that underboob x3) wearing this :D (adorasexy?).
But yeah... it's more like bedroom clothing than public clothing... it would be a shame if she had to go public in this >D.
About art itself:
- good idea with blur and shine effects on mirror, it helps with belivable effect;
- her fur strands/fluffs/tufts (I lack proper english word... exaples:. above panties and above stockings xP) really shows that „these are clothes, not markings”.
- I'm not sure if box gives proper reflection.
- I'm not sure how much colors of this outfit are forced by meme, but they really fit Hazel :D.
Also... is her reflection smiling a bit (as if her inner voie actually kinda enjoyed this), or I'm just seeing things? xD

The reflection is, lets just say, a lazy reflection which is why the box's reflection is nonsensical.
The expression in the mirror is a slightly different one though while not intentional (since it was a result of an edit on the non-reflected part after I had already reflected it) it does kinda have some funny implications like she might be slightly enjoying it on her inside.

I kinda suspected, but works good nevertheless (except „magical box”... which sounds slightly inappropriate while I'm typing this xD).
Accidental funny implications can actually turn out as inspiring material for further lore/worldbuilding .
PS: (As Linux user who's trying to be up to date) GIMP should be releasing version 3.0 like this winter :D (there is already 2.99 preview availabe, not sure if also for Windows/Mac)).
