Once there was a realm consisting of only animals, the creator of this world the benevolent goddess of nature, Bokarae who had grown lonely due to the lack of sentience of her animal subjects, decided one day to Grant them sentients

And to not over exert her powers she started by granting sentience to only one of every type of species, he she also gave them the power to Grant their fellows sentience and one variety of power

A lowly serpent was christened the king of all reptiles, and was given power over the mind

A mighty mongoose was christened the queen of all mammal predators, and given strength Beyond normal bear strength

A quick rabbit was given the title of Prince of mammal prey, and the quickness Beyond comprehension

A sharp eyed Songbird was christened Queen of birds, and was given sight so great she could peer into the future

A sneaky cockroach was made Lord of all bugs, and gained more sneak points due to his ability to make himself invisible

And finally a frightening shark was made ruler of all sea animals, and he was bestowed with teleportation

So these uplifted animals set off and gave sentience to their subjects, and with the sentience came new forms, bigger forms, more humanoid forms, all were grateful to their goddess for this great gift and swear to eternal worship to her greatness

And for A Time things were good, Predators only ate the already dead, and all species lived in harmony, but like all Harmony he could not last, for with sentience came the opportunity of a dark heart

And no one had a darker heart then the second serpent Chimera King, Julius poison tooth, child of the second serpent Chimera Queen, this horrible creature made of Cobra and spider was filled with so much poison it blackened his heart at his birth, his power over the Mind took shape in the ability to spread his poisonous Darkness to any heart he bit into

But there was one creature immune to his power, immune to all mind powers of all serpent kind, of the mighty mongoose, this was bad because he lusted for the fair Mongoose crane princess, who was betroved to her beloved Sparrow fiance, so no evil Mongoose wife for poison tooth

Greatly pissed, he killed the sparrow and tore his voice box from him, and combining it with a flute he made a magical instrument that would sway his object of lust directly into his many many arms

And thus the subjugation of mongoose kind begun, and so did the horrible rain of all that descended from Poison tooth
