After far too long of contending with my brain being stupid about the original rough sketch, it is finally finished.
A very different piece than my usual, certainly my favourite I have worked on so far, tried to get a sense of place and a more challenging pose which took many iterations.
The lighting in particular was almost an accident, the original sketch was lit mostly by the lamp and by chance I tried to reverse the idea, going for stark lighting from the window just barely popping in which I think really made the colors lovely.
