Rayla smiled as Nuria settled another shell on her sandsculpted town. She was intrigued at how her friend both managed to perfectly cook the fish over the fire and carve away the sand from the sand city without any collapse! Her claws lifting the fish up to her jaws for another bite.
Nuria was focused. Not that she couldn't have made conversation or even further pushed her dexterity and mental acuity further for yet another task, but it was already enough to hear Rayla's amazement for just the two. She started to lift up another shell, with an ear twitching to hear water shifting differently from the waves. Large motions. A quick glance told her she needn't worry though, spotting a speck of yellow rising through the ocean's frothing waves.
Amendelwyr burst out from the waters with her jaws and claws still latched tightly around an enormous swordfish. The abrupt arrival shocked Rayla, both for the catch and Amendelwyr's flight toward them at speed, seawater drifting from her scales in a rush of white and flickering rainbows.
When she landed, she held up her prize, happily rejoicing with her friends for the adventure they shared together.
