When the War with the Elves ended Kuruk remained as a soldier and blacksmith of Uldaen the Unyielding for a couple years afterward, but a yearning to see the world that had long since been kept from him he left to explore. He sought little in wealth, typically taking up jobs as a temporary blacksmith for a village or acted as a local guide for adventurers to help pay for food or equipment. So if you ever need a guide into the remotest regions of Orcillon, keep an eye out for Kuruk in the local taverns and inns.
