In the tropics, a Shuckle who regularly knocked into tall berry palms to get berries to ferment in its shell... accidentally bounced off a particularly sturdy tree and went splashing right into a cove. And in that cove, a particularly violent Wugtrio was prepared to defend its territory from the invasion Shuckle (who of course sank to the depths like a stone!) However, because this Shuckle was already full of heavily fermented fruit juice, high alcohol content was leaked into the water of the cove, getting the aggressive Wugtrio so drunk, in fact, that it basically laughed off this little intrusion of its territory and even helped the Shuckle out... by taking up residency inside the Shuckle's shell WITH it and teaching it how to survive in the sea!
