~A shorter midweek stream, as this Friday is our planned off-air Friday!~

After meeting Lord Harcourt formally, the group was left to explore the castle a bit and generally while away the time before the ball the following night.

Marius went up to his room to do some whittling, and snacked on a variety of cheese and crackers brought by one of the serving staff. The rest of us saw the sun garden, the shadow garden, and met a strange high elf who is courting one of Harcourt's daughters...?

Afterwards, we went to the (public) castle library. Edwin learned some more about that vampire rose he saw at the Arcane College (and was growing in the shadow garden), and on memory magic. Gael and Boffin, after Soliana retired to bathe, spent a bit more time chatting before also going to bed.

The next day, the group received their formal wear. What will tonight's ball bring?
