You stepped up onto the stone patio. The sun lay low in the sky, leaving the gray floor slightly cold to the touch, with a sharp shadow cast across half of it. You could swear everything was a little bigger by the time you got to the door, but you thought nothing of it.
Placing a hand on the door, it creaked open. Sparsely illuminated, the interior was mostly blanketed in concealing darkness, except for the ray of light shining through the open door. On that note, the top of the doorframe now seemed quite a bit higher than it was before…
Faint noises, resembling footsteps, caught your attention. The ground below you trembled just a bit, as the room seemed to stretch longer as you continued walking. You were convinced you saw a tail disappear behind a cabinet. You ran over, only to find nothing there. However, you felt something brush against your side, something you couldn’t quite catch.
You stepped over to the middle of the room, spotlighted by the sunlight coming from outside. You looked up, only to find the door towering even higher than before. You were just above half its height now. Confused, you looked around. After a moment, a massive figure, at least compared to you, seemed to appear from the shadows themselves, as if coming out of invisibility. At this point, your head only came up to the reptilian figure’s shapely thigh.
He looked at you with grayish, unsurprised eyes—which seemed to have a subtle hint of blue—as if he’d been expecting you. His tall, gray, and admittedly handsome body towered over you. You couldn’t help but notice his lips curled into the faintest smile beneath his neutral expression.
You weren’t planning on staying here any longer. You weren’t sure about the giant reptile’s intentions, even if he didn’t seem like he was interested in harming you, but enough weird stuff was going on already, and it wouldn’t be long until you could fit down his throat with ease. You quickly pushed that last thought out of your head.
You began running back towards the door, making slow progress. You heard, and more importantly, felt, the footsteps behind you. The vibrations of the ground threw you off balance a bit. You looked back. The gray lizzord wasn’t exactly running after you, but rather simply walking at the same pace you were sprinting.
The doorframe passed above you far overhead. The setting sun glittered in the eyes of your pursuer. With every step, a small earthquake seemed to happen at your scale. You were nearly knocked off your feet as the world shook and a shadow loomed above you. Placed perfectly on either side of you were the figure’s massive toe-claws. As you were about to fall, you were picked up in his surprisingly careful grasp. He held you to his face. At your size, each breath felt like a warm gust of wind against your whole body.
He dangled your tiny form above him and opened his maw wide. Hot, humid breath enveloped you. Moist strings of saliva fell towards his throat, which you gazed into. You watched the dark, squishy tunnel contract as he gulped a few seconds later. It was almost hypnotizing, as if inviting you in.
You might have heard his stomach grumble what seemed like so far below, staring into his hungry eyes. After a moment, you felt his grip loosen on you, just a little~
