These are some other few War memorabilias I haven't shown. My latest in this picture would be the Jap helmet and the unknown shell. I'm still collecting, its rather a costly hobby but the joy of holding and owning a piece of history is worth the trouble.
As much as I fight to find stuff like in the photo, its a fight to find its origns and information. I have quite a struggle researching on the individual items, but most of the items I have a key concept of they're origins.
Feel free to ask me anything about the items and their information.

There's a PBS show that actually helps track down stuff like that, maybe you've got something that they'd find interesting enough to research for you. Just expect to get some air time on PBS. Oh, and sometimes if you've something really special they even give a little extra back in appreciation.
Awesome collection! I don't have any WWII stuff myself. The closest I have is my M1 Garand rifle. However I think it postdates WWII and might even have been used in Korea. Rest of my historical stuff is cold war weaponry and most of it was never used in war most likely. I'll have to post them someday.
I have a Vietnam War jacket(appraised for $4,000 USD)
a WWII Post-1944 Steel Pot Helmet (Yet to be appraised)
an unknown era ammo box (Either WWII or Vietnam, no clue)
an old, rusty MG-42 with some bullets to go with it (It still fires!!! ^_^)
Im looking for other stuff though, just tell me if you retrieve something that doesn't fit in your collection

well, in my total of the items you see in the picture in Philippines currency would be about 15,700 pesos.
Not including the German war Merit, the m42 helmet, the 1945 Calvery helmet, the m20 amo box, the Japanese Arasaka Bayonet and the 1907, 1932 and 1944 coins. that total would be around 103,390 pesos in Philippines currency. So, all-in-all around 119,090 pesos. Just around 2,000.00 bucks worth in U.S currency.
