It's not bad for a basic frame. I would suggest trimming off all of the pokey parts from the existing mesh, so that your face doesnt hurt while wearing it--and instead of using zip ties to hold it together, sew it together with yarn and a yarn needle. It's all about comfort while wearing a fursuit--especially when they are so hot and bulky when done (it can get upward of 115 to 120 degrees in a head, after all, within 10-20 minutes of wearing it).

Think of comfort now. :3
