AKA, the time Gohan realized he has immense power over Taro, and Taro realized he can be made to do anything as long as Gohan promises him extra kisses

though they are not public at this time
also i headcanon that Taro's a slightly "bad" influence on Gohan, and makes him realize "you don't live at him anymore, your mom can't tell you what to do" and Gohan gets his ears pierced, nothing fancy though, it's a slight impulse control loss thing

Small notes about Taro

I wanted to show off Taro's weird alien traits a little, because my man is an alien in fact
His hair is "alive" and acts like jacksticks, he can jam each lock into the Earth and start shaping the planet (he doesn't do this) and he has 5 irises that form a lil Cross almost
He can move all the irises independently and tends to hide them away on the sides of his eyes you can't see, but sometimes when his concentration slips or he experiences certain emotions, they'll show up

And even when they're hidden away, he can see through them, and very few people have ever managed to sneak up on him
