Cucullats are members of medium-sized flightless herbivore bird Fatikelij Species native only to the Asuar Ridge and Zodiac Isles. They are quite fearless and will actively defend themselves with their sharp, axe-like beaks when threatened. Apart from that, they are peaceful animals that subsist mainly on a diet of nuts, seeds, bulbs and roots.
They are monogamous in nature and a single pair will usually stay together for life. Cucullats come in many different colors, having earned them the nickname "Rainbow Birds".
The Pecker Cucullat became extinct during the Feeran Impact, when the Asuar Ridge was destroyed by a fragment of Feera.
