Hilda had friends in the woods need Nuvema but also dealt with a menace in the form of a Purrloin. She often stole things that she liked and what she liked most was something to eat. Specifically, human food like donuts or soft pretzels. It was like nothing she'd find in the wild.


It was also just fun to mess around with her marks. Especially with Hilda who seemed to fancy herself a Pokemon because of her ability. She was born with no mother or father, her egg hatching in the warm summer sun. So she saw herself as free to do anything she wants.


However, when Team Plasma had Hilda on the run, Purrloin decided to do her a solid and help her get back Pokemon stolen from Professor Juniper. For a fee of a hefty stack of pancakes of course. Heck, she might stick around with Hilda to try every food there is. Not like they'd have to be friends or something.
