Original Species: Agita Great Civet
The Agita Great Civet is a large, mammalian carnivore, and apex predator of the island of Agita. It typically lurks among the trees and shrubs, ready to ambush any unsuspecting critter. Mostly, it goes for smaller creatures, including the young of larger animals. If sufficiently hungry, it can go for creatures close in size to a human, dispatching them with a well-placed bite to the back of the head.
While the Civet is less dangerous than the mainland predators, it is still a significant threat to unprepared adventurers. Although, if well-fed, they are more likely to ignore or outright avoid people, preferring to remain in the shadows. In that regard, the Agita Great Civet is most analogous to an Earth leopard.
