So this is what I've been up too all day. In between washing dishes here at the restaurant hahah.
So basically I took one of my old NES systems and built this. I was trying to give it a slightly weathered look, like an old Nuclear Weapon Launch Console. XDD
I call it, The Nuke-Tendo. And yes, it works just fine. I was playing Tetris on it a few minutes ago.
I hope you guys like it. ^____^
I am going to cover the old power button ports with a little metal warning tag but I have that at work. XD
What I did:
Full paint job
Removed nonessential brackets and braces.
Removed old power control system and circuit board.
Rewired electrical system.
Wired and installed a covered LED toggle switch (left) to control power to the system.
Wired and installed a new reset button (right)
Cut hole in the top of the system and put in clear Plexi-glass so you can see the game inside.
Installed a red LED on either side of internal game cradle/elevator that turns on when the system is turned on to light up the inside of the system.
All the LED's I installed will blink if the game isn't working properly. (Just like the old NES Power LED.

I realized today, sitting at lunch or break in the break room at work....that I will get to see the Nuke-tendo in person. And I thought -- its that thing from before I knew 40oz like this -- that thing...from before...has new significance. Oh shit I am going to see it in person. And I smiled.
