Another distant relative of the Lipane, the Tamiuc, have been encountered before but never seen outside of their homeland as they do not concern themselves with the outside world. No trade has ever been established as they keep their country shut tight and any intruders are removed or killed on sight, not even the Lipane are welcome even though they have tried repeatedly to establish diplomatic realtions with the Tamiuc. As such not much is known about them aside from what information was gathered by shipwrecked sailors or adventurers who were allowed a brief stay to recover before being dropped on any passing ship. Unfortunatly the Tamiuc do not check what kind of ships they are and some unlucky individuals have found themselves being teleported onto a slaver ship or even ghost ships.
From these survivor reports and some long distance scrying at least some idea of their culture has been gained, such as for example that unlike the Lipane the Tamiuc are certainly not pacifists and they possess powerful mages which are assumed to be on par with the Lipane. They are also extremely skilled archers if the reports are to be believed they would have no equal, not even among the Amazons or bird folk, as ships have reported finding arrows stuck in their mast or on the deck even though they were far off the coast beyond the reach of even the most skilled long distance archer. Likely the Tamiuc use magic to make such long distance shots, as they are known to prefer wind magic, but even then these distances would be extremy hard to reach.
From scrying done before the Tamiuc built wards against it, it has been observed that the Tamiuc live in magnifficent treetop cities in trees that would dwarf even those on the Aloatra islands, with temples and palaces and hanging gardens. The temples seem to have some similarity with those of the recently discovered Iluurai as they appear to be dedicated to the moons. From observations of the people it would appear that similar to the Lipane the Tamiuc have a caste system and are rather matriarchal but less so than the Lipane as males can have high standing and they are currently assumed to be ruled by a king. Their cities seem to be well protected by soldiers and magical constructs of unknown design, not to mention nearly every person is a capable mage and there are probably many magical wards so any invasion attempt would be madness, not even the best spies have been able to even get close to the city, let alone inside it. It has also been observed that the Tamiuc are great climbers capable of scaling up the eneromous tree trunks with any ladder or ropes, and they can do so even with heavy packs
Not much else is known beyond that since scrying is no longer possible and most nations think it best to no longer send any spies so as to not provoke this nation into a possible war as they clearly do not take kindly to any sort of intrusion or observation. Though nothing is known of their mating habits, the Lipane claim this would be unethical to look into, one scryer appears to have witnessed something by accident and though she does not want to elaborate she does assure us of one thing, much to her embarassment, and that is that Tamiuc males are aparently quite endowed... Though her senior claims that she likely just made an error on the leyline focus, but pressing her on the matter she only stated that she could neither confirm nor deny her apprentice's claims and there would be no further questions on the topic...
For the time being it seems unlikely any trade or diplomatic relations will be established with the Tamiuc, but perhaps some day it might happen as there are rumors of one unknown group of adventurers having done a great service for the Tamiuc, unfortunately nobody knows who this group was or where they are now, otherwise they could be a valuable link to get the Tamiuc to open their land for trade and exploration.
