Nothing like picking up your sketchbook, getting some music going, being in your bed and not bothered with the world. I think I forgot how much this means to me. Being in my own headspace and drawing all alone. Now, I get frustrated with art, unable to draw the correct form of anatomy, maybe an expression is working, or maybe the left hand is a bit smaller than the other. This is a sweet reminder to just take it slow, relax and to enjoy yourself rather than pressing on your pencil or stylus. Sure, rent is coming up and you owe something for someone, but never forget that this is like your therapy session. The place where you work your magic! You alone are making something beautiful, something that says "You"!

I really love this piece. it was a lovely gift from my friend  RaccoonDrew! Drew asked me what Tex's room is like and I guess the best way to describe is... organized chaos?? It's not bad but it's not great! Then, he surprised me with this piece! Really does capture the lazy summer toon mood! So big shout out to Drew for this lovely pice, I owe him BIG time. Like... TRIPLE the boxes of dozen doughnuts! Absolutely love that guy, haha! I bet Moray Bay is a lovely vacation as well! Tex will definitely love living there haha!
