Filth the Labrat - Sonic OC Ref
Here's one of my oldest Sonic OCs! I gave her a redesign right before Art Fight 2024. I also revamped her lore (you can read her lore blurb below). Tinkerpup is another one of my Sonic OCs, you can find his ref on my profile!
LORE BLURB
Filth is convinced that she was made artificially (ala Shadow the Hedgehog). It's fractured memory and broken sense of self make it unclear if this an outright delusion or if there's even a nugget of truth behind this belief. However, Filth leads it's life hoping to uncover the past. How can she be whole if she does not know her origin?
Filth is convinced that Tinkerpup created it. There's enough evidence to suggest this is possible - Tinkerpup may be a mechanic now, but he followed in the footsteps of Gerald Robotnik and dabbled in bioengineering. This is something Tinkerpup never talks about and denies tis, if confronted by it. Yet Filth knows this little-known, well-hidden fact of Tinkerpup's past and thinks this means that Tinkerpup very well could have made another being (and she is it... or one of the its if there's more than one).
After spending years wandering aimlessly, upon meeting Tinkerpup in person, she began to follow him. Tinkerpup took her in and began to care for her (all while bellyaching and telling her he wishes she would get lost). Filth thought if she could make herself useful to Tinker, he would accept her as his mentee and she could stay, so it began to beg Tinker to experiment on her, or let her help with experiments. Tinker never experimented on her (what a nasty idea), but has allowed her to help where she sees fit. In Tinkerpup's eyes, she is surprisingly very knowledgeable but doesn't seem to know it, so he is more than happy to accept her help. But he's also more than happy to let her live with him as long as she wishes to with only her company being given in return. They've traveled together for many years at this point and their relationship now, ironically, resembles that of a father-daughter dynamic.
