This is an icon commission for 
Asalvus that I had a lot of making. :) I wasn't sure how I was going to stylize the scales going in, but I'm really happy with how they turned out!
This character is a Sungazer lizard, and today I had the pleasure of learning that the scientific name for that species is "Smaug Giganteus" How neat! Scientists are huge nerds, who knew? :P

Haha, definitely a good choice! They really do look like little dragons! :D
And thank you! I don't usually do a lot of texturing/rendering in this style since it's part of how I keep the cost reasonable, so I'm glad I could make it work with basic coloring and cell shading. :)
