Her Angelic Countenance and Hugs
The world would be darker without her.
Without her warm wings wrapped around me.
She's the most gentle, kind and loving.
A dragoness whom never ceases caring.
The end may came and burn the earth.
But her love, it beckons truly with mirth.
Amendelwyr she is and always will be.
The light she has, she offers free.
The light she has, she gives to me.
This is the best art I've ever made for myself up to now in my entire life. Even my freehand practice of another artist's works to practice toning and linework with pencil alone has been incredibly long since our artwork practice lately. I freely painted this, with a mouse... no line-art. (Well, scutes excepted?) The challenge made my think strongly of how light bends and reflects. Shading every stage forward.
There's some mistakes here and there. Harsh edges of color with less blending, some darker shades under the horns being too simple. But, they are acceptable. Considering I haven't done something for myself in any sort of quality like this in close to 7-8 years...? I feel I could have done more, but that's the artist's trap for unfinished works. I wanted to close the book and start something anew. Learning something else.
I can only say that my artisans have inspired me and your encouragement is invaluable.
Enjoy. . .
