this is Alex the arctic tern, he's one of my only ocs who isn't from aplaria, but he travels the world alot and is really fond of aplaria. He visits there often and has made friends with a few aplarians there including Cody :3 He is always very fascinated by everything there, even the least interesting thing possible like a guy sitting on a bench, he will literally take photos of everything lol XD He often carries spare memory cards in his backpack as he takes so many darn photos as he travels lol. He's a tourist as heck XDD
I was inspired by the arctic terns I've been seeing at the beach lately, so I sketched out a new character. The way arctic terns travel half way across the world to migrate really does fascinate me too, I would love to be able to go around the world like that 💛 So I thought since terns are such huge travellers, I thought making one as a tourist oc would be just perfect ^w^ Alex wears a backpack, sun visor, and a photo camera around his neck so he's well ready to take his next photo >:3 I'm aware that I'm not very good at drawing caps and sun visors like he's wearing, so any useful tips and references would be greatly appreciated! Maybe I should reference on one of the caps I own, how does that sound? ^w^
