Meet Khan, s hybrid species of Nargacuga and M.U.T.O from Godzilla!
His real name isnt Khan, but rather a translation of "leader, or King" in his own language. Khan is a Noble and depending on the background allowed for him is either the cursed Prince of his species, or a minor nobility with grandious visions.
Khan is a Sorcerer in D&D5E, or a Summoner/Psyhcic in Pathfinder 2E.
For size, he stands upright about 7ft9, but his body pattern means he's usually rested on the forelimbs and generally hunched. I havent decided on a species name yet, but when showed to non-furry friends they said behind his back in-game that he "Looked like a Moth-cat", so that's what Im going to say the species is called as an "insult" when one of his species isnt within earshot.
Unfortunately its VERY HARD to classify him correctly on FA's species list, since he isnt one clear thing, haha. Leaving at "alien" since, well, his species can operate Spelljammers/equivilant so... yeah.
He was laid as an egg under a blood moon, and hatched in the midst of a solar eclipse. This granted him his latent magical abilities, but also drawthe attention of minor cosmic forces, rendering Khan an "Outsider" to the planes of existance, and an "Outsider" at home. While his parents loved and cared for him as any other child, his unusual circumstances of birth lend him to be pariahed the rest of his kind as an Omen.
Khan is extremely petty as you might expect of a Noble that essentially gets people to call them "King", Borderline only "evil" in alignment due to his selfish nature due to his upbringing. He suffered a traumatic past wherein his family were politically targetted by an unknown organisation, culminating in the assassination of his mother, who was essentially matriarch in charge.
With disorder growing, Khan was eventually Exiled, and smuggled out for his safety by allies still loyal to his family as the organisation took charge.
If you ask him, he'd lie and say that he comes from somewhere deep in the caverns of the Underdark.

Its honouring someone likes them enough to make their own!
THis came from the dumb idea of "What if combine 2 creatures with "Visor eyes" on them. They don't have a species name (yet), but in general the fur can be basically any tonal/colour combination, but Khan is unique with the magical markings. THere are body/fur patterns but only those with Magic tend to get ones like his. (Albeit, in unique shapes and patterns, since his are Moon themed)

I tend to think more along the lines of Names that'd fit into a fantasy setting, like the Lizardfolk in Pathfinder 2E call themself "The Iruxi", the Hippo space people from DND/Spelljammer are "Gif", that sorta thing.
I suppose Mutocuga works for a Furry-name, but I'd still want to cook something thats viable if it were in the lore of a game setting like Pathfinder/Starfinder, haha
