my initial batch of sweets kids, now sweetfurs! infodump incoming-

sweetfurs, the original species im working through, are all one species that mimic features of the animals around them. they're made of sentient sweets so they can add onto and remove matter from their bodies at will.

they were originally much more humanoid when they were created, but after their creators abandoned them, they started experimenting with their shapes and the shapes of sweets they created, mostly basing them off of animals around them (the animals are also made of food, specifically spices, but they can't change their shapes because theyre not... sentient. in the same way the sweets are. the animals are primarily domesticated/farm animals and forest dwelling animals. animals considered 'exotic' are rare as the creators didn't want to risk introducing them to the environment.)

sweets, now sweetfurs, are typically created with animal parts because the base humanoid forms are considered boring and stifling. they're usually made the same animal as the one who creates them, though they can have features of up to two animals. anymore and they get confused.

their whole bodies are covered in fur, but their main body fur tends to stay natural skin/fur toned, while their hair, eyes, tails and wings can all be coloured based on their sweet base.

why am i posting on my agere/kidfur acct? because sweetfurs are primarily children! theyre functionally immortal, can grow or regress at will and have no real intensive to age beyond, like, 14, unless they feel drawn to "grown up jobs" like reproduction, caretaking, protection, etc.

sweetfurs reproduce asexually. they have no concept of sex, a limited concept of gender, and and do not have sex or interact sexually ever. they reproduce by cooking. so the only real barrier to reproduction is being able to reach the stove.

The sweetfurs world has no name because they never thought to name it! Its just the world :)) its also basically a giant snowglobe about the size of america with an even controlled temperate climate. They were created artificially but they have no idea how! Just that a long time ago someone else was here and now they're not...
