Ven didn't know what else to do. His family were crazy, sure, but he'd had just about as much as he could handle of his despicable pack. The thievery of his and Minka's last scrap of meat was the last straw.
His mother, the ALPHA of the pack.... didn't even care that the scrap of meat she stole and scoffed was the last bit he had to keep him and Minka through the rest of the winter.
That was indeed it.
He made the decision... he was going to kick his mother's lazy butt and FORCE her to hunt for once. And he didn't care that a blizzard was fast approaching.
