References for the three main side characters in my post-transformation stories, Avery’s Awakening, and Avery’s Paradise(currently being written). They are formerly human drekir who now have to survive in a new world, and in new bodies. The three closest friends of the story’s protagonist, Avery.

Cato — Male — 19 y/o

Cato was a natural athlete even before the pulse. Endlessly helpful and selfless, he lives by the philosophy of being a team player for his best friends. Is an enthusiastic fitness hound. Or fitness *lizard* now I guess. However, he has a hard time forgiving himself when he makes mistakes.

Greg — Male — 18 y/o

By far the most outgoing of the group. Mischievous, and an innate jokester, Greg relishes in causing trouble in the most fun sense of the word. Sometimes though, he can become too brazen. Wearing his heart on his sleeve might be seen as commendable honesty. But too often, he might express that “honesty” in an offensive or mean-spirited way. Prone to stubbornness in a negative way as well. Despite his larger than life personality, he can be deceptively insightful, kind, and loyal.

Vincent — Female (formerly male as a human) — 18 y/o

The quietest member of the group. But also the most intelligent and cultured. Shy and emotionally dependent on his more confident friends, Vincent has the habit of being a follower. Occasionally his immense wisdom shines through. When he’s needed most, he betrays his true colors as a guiding star to his friends.
